The SLC 1746 modular chassis holds the processor or I/O adapter module and the I/O modules. A maximum of 3 chassis can be interconnected with chassis interconnect cables (1746-C7 0.15m/0.5ft, 1746-C9 0.91m/3ft, 1746-C16 1.22m/4ft) for a maximum of 30 module slots that can be addressed locally by a processor or I/O adapter in the left-most slot of the 3-chassis assembly.
