Specifications:	The communications processors CP 5613 A2 is supported as of version CD 11/2003 (V6.2) of the SIMATIC NET product CD or Developer Kit V3.1. CP 5613 A2 is designed for a 66 MHz PCI bus clock rate. If the CP 5613 A2 is operated in a PCI-X slot, the bus clock rate in this PCI-X segment is automatically reduced to 66 MHz.

Miscellaneous:	The CP 5613 A2 is operated as a PROFIBUS DP master module that stores the process image (input/output and diagnostics data) in the dual-port RAM (memory area on the CP). High-performance data transfer to and from the PROFIBUS slaves is performed autonomously by the hardware of the CP 5613 A2. The user accesses the dual-port RAM directly. The process data of the slaves are always consistent, i.e. the user receives the data of a slave from one and the same DP cycle.
